Christian Marclay: Doors
Christian Marclay continues to expand time-based art, particularly through music and moving image. Doors is a major work, made over a decade from quotations and collage drawn from an immense range of films across eras and regions. Meticulously collected and classified, scenes featuring doors link seamlessly from one film to another. Moving freely through film history, the work creates a psychological labyrinth of endless repetition, producing a rich flow of images while creating the illusion of a seamless continuity of time and space.

Gerhard Richter: Moving Picture (946-3) Kyoto Version
Moving Picture (946-3) Kyoto Version is an installation in film and sound based on Richter’s earlier abstract painting, made in collaboration with filmmaker Corinna Belz, composer Rebecca Saunders, and trumpeter Marco Blaauw. Thirteen speakers surround the viewer, while intense images continuously form and shift across the screen, creating a fully immersive experience. The work marks a new phase of Richter’s Strip series of the 2010s and is one of the major culminations of his late career.
