First green of spring and cherry call that spring is coming in Hakone. In April, the green covers the mountain and the various wild flowers start to bloom.

In mid March, Cherry blossoms start to bloom from Hakone-Yumoto which is located at the bottom of Hakone Mountain, then gradually in Miyagino, Gora, Sengokuhara and finally around the lake Ashi at the top of the mountain in mid April. There are many places where we can see the mountains colored by the Cherry Blossom trees. |

The azalea blossoms in Hakone are at their peak in May. There are many places where we can see the azalea. The brightly-colored azaleas will be in full bloom in Hotel de Yama, Kagetsuen garden, Horaien and so on. |
